Electron Dot Structure
Electron Dot Structure consists of the elements symbol which represents the atomic nucleus and inner-level electrons surrounded by dots representing the atoms valence electrons.
Examples:
Hydrogen: H- would have one dot.
Carbon: C- would have three dots.
Fluorine: F- would have seven dots.
